High School Youth Ministry
9th - 12th Grade

Mentorship (9th grade)
The final year of St. Mark’s confirmation program connects each student with an adult member of the church for several months of intentional conversation and exploration. Events of learning, relationship building, faith exploration, and fellowship are planned for each Sunday, end of September through January from 11:30-12:30. 9th graders are confirmed at the end of January.

TIM Team (Teens in Ministry)
(11th & 12th grade)

TIM Team members commit to and are trained to be peer ministers and leaders in the youth ministry program. TIM Team members experience training for team building, planning and developing leadership skills during the summer. They meet monthly during the school year to plan events and build community with one another.

High School Youth Group
This opportunity on Wednesday nights following worship (6:30-7:30) engages high school youth through fun games, encouraging conversation, Bible study and service projects (both inside and outside the walls) as we explore who God created us to be and how our gifts can impact and change the world. Contact Susie Modrow if you would like more information.

Mission Trips
St. Mark’s believes strongly that mission work not only helps others, but gives back to those involved through faith development, the chance to build new relationships, and the commitment to serve the church, community and world. Recent trips include experiences in rural and inner city environments around the country along with international opportunities in Iringa,Tanzania and India.

Adventure Trips
Trips are planned every other year (during the summer opposite mission trips) with a variety of outdoor camping, canoeing or backpacking experiences in Minnesota and further. This experience allows youth to learn and experience God’s creation in a completely new way.

Joyful Voices Choir (1st – 12th grade)
All God's creatures have a place in the choir - that means you! If you are in 6th-12th grade, your place is in the Colla Voce Choir. No previous experience is necessary. We meet from 4:45-5:45 on Wednesdays. We provide special music for the 10:15 services usually twice a month. We also have been helping with leading the singing for Wednesday worship. Don't miss out on being a part of this important ministry opportunity! For more information, check out
music ministry.

Fun and Fellowship
Throughout the year, fun events give us the opportunity to develop relationships with one another. Some past events include: bonfires, snowtubing, lock-ins, movie nights, pajama parties, etc.
