What a celebration of Christ's love for us! St. Mark's has a tradition of carrying God's light out to the community through songs of praise and the reenactment of stories at the very heart of the Christian message. Our players--ranging in age from 3 to 93!--stage several theatrical productions each year in celebration of Christ's message.

The goal of St. Mark's Drama Ministries is to offer projects that facilitate growth, expression, spirituality and community.

We have four drama groups:

Hot Buttered Popcorn - Our youngest actors (up to 4th grade) recently performed "God With a Capital 'G'", "Esther-Ordinary Faith" and "Rainbow Express".

Prime Time Players - Actors in the fifth through 8th grades recently brought to the stage "The Race is On," "LAMU" and "Truthslayers".

Spirit Section - This talented cast of teen and adult actors brings some of the greatest stories of the Bible to life. Recent productions include "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Godspell," "Footloose" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".

Good Company - Adult and some teen performers come together in productions such as "Nehemiah" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas."

Drama Minstries often participates in worship, performing short plays and dramatic readings.
