Worship at St. Mark's

We gather for worship services every Sunday and Wednesday at St. Mark's. We worship in lots of different ways - both traditional and contemporary. When you come to a worship service at St. Mark's, we hope you'll free to worship God as the spirit moves you.

Sunday Worship at 8:30 & 10:30 am (September - May)
St. Mark's offers Sunday worship services at 8:30 and 10:30 am. Both follow the Lutheran tradition of Holy Communion, congregational singing, reading & teaching from the Bible, and prayer. The first service is slightly more formal, and the second is a little more casual. However, there's no need to choose one over the other: people of all generations will feel comfortable and connected to God.

Family Worship Service, Wednesdays at 6:00 pm (September - May)
Our Wednesday nights at St. Mark's offer something for everyone. Our service starts at 6:00 pm, and this family-friendly half-hour will feature a sermon based on the Sunday's message, suitable for everyone. It includes a blend of kid friendly songs and old favorites, and Lenten services, too. The education hour for confirmation and JAM kids, plus adult classes on relevant topics will follow from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. The evening ends with a High School Youth Group from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, as well as drama rehearsals. Parents are a welcome part of worship and learning, and you can make Wednesdays your complete Sabbath experience. Remember, Wednesdays are not just for confirmation any more!

Summer Worship at 9:30 am (Memorial Day – Labor Day)
During the summer months, we will all worship together at one combined service in the Sanctuary at 9:30 am. Whether you typically attend at 8:45 or 10:15, the blended style of this service appeals to everyone! Fellowship hour continues outside (weather permitting).
